Confidence means 'believing in self ' that YES! I can get this done. I can achieve it.
In life there will be many ups and downs, we cannot just be scared of set back and quit doing what makes us happpy and peace ful, to keep ourself going it is very important to have two things:
1)SELF BELIEF
2) POSITIVE MINDSET
Self Belief
It is only developed over time by keep doing the things which causes fear in us and restrict us from doing it.Here, it is very necessary that one should always be in DO MODE or ACTION ORIENTED mindset.
I too used to doubt myself alot earlier, I had a sick mentality that I cant do anything, I am never meant for winning, but then my cousin suggested me to read a book which changed my life entirely "The Secret" believe me its not just a book its more than a magic, but again only thing is ACTION, merely reading is not enough but implying it in real life will make a difference.I read the book, its basic focus is on three words :
ASK
BELIEVE
RECEIVE
it says you become what you think about most of the time, thinking cant be change in the blink of an eye, of course!! for that you gotta remember that constant repitition of words to yoursef forms your thinking, so start little by little by reminding yourself daily these words:
I think I am confident
I think I am successful
I think I am the best
and you can add many such positive words to it, which can add more values to your life,I learnt this self belief when i took admission in college last year with a intention of growing my personality, by becoming more and more confident as during my school days I was very shy type, introvert person, which I had to change to confident and extrovert+introvert.And I am learning this each and every day a little more by taking up all the opportunity and facing challenges.
Remember, "Change only occur when we decide to move out of our comfort zone.Take Action!!"
Positive Mindset
If self belief is a recipe to confidence then positive mindset is essential salt,which is a must have thing! No one has ever became successful with negative mindset. Its very difficult to move forward in life if your mind has negative thought for every thing you do, like if I cannot do this, what if I didnt reach anywhere in life,what if everyone achieve their goal and only I left behind,etc. etc.
The word 'if' , 'didnot', 'cannot' to be notice here, at very first you need to remove this from your mind,we should always keep a watch on our mind talks, and keep interrupting in between whenever any negative thought pop up and replacing them with positive ones.
These are the small beginning to maintaining a positivity in yout life, more you can do is to be surrounded by positive people, reading good books,spending time with self, spending time in mother nature, meditate, connect with God every day and many more, these small small things will add life to your lives, it will bring inner peace, it will make you calm, and this positive mindset will take you to, where you belong, making the life little easier and happier...
